Welcome to our brand new site. We are excited about getting started. Our focus is going to be on anti-aging and the idea of maintaining youth. All of us older individuals ( boomers and seniors) want to remain young and vibrant. Staying youthful and maintaining a young spirit is something we can all strive for. Of course that does not mean all of us can achieve that lofty goal, but we can sure try! With the Baby Boomers turning 50 there will be more and more individuals striving to maintain their youth in mind, body and spirit. We cannot imagine anyone at any age, particularly in the later years, not wanting to live a quality lifestyle as long as possible! In other words maintaining youth and defying age as long as possible!
There are dozens of lifestyle choices and changes we can focus on as we grow old gracefully and work on maintaining our youth. Exercise, nutrition and diet, vitamins and supplements, cosmetic changes, and entertainment choices are just a few of the topics we will explore.
Age also brings on disease and causes the proper functioning of our bodies to break down which can lead to stress and worry. Stress in itself is a killer. We begin losing our memories, our hearing, and our vision. We discover that we are not able to do some of the things we loved when we were younger. Bending over or getting up out of a chair is more of a chore then ever before. Our weight shifts and we discover lumps and bumps where they never existed. Wrinkles, sagging skin and gray hair change our appearance. All good reasons to maintain our youth by making quality choices in our lifestyle now. It is a known fact that the earlier we start the better our results will be.
Maintaining youth is an obsession for some but the majority of us do not recognize during our youth the importance of choosing a healthy lifestyle . Unfortunately we can not turn back the hands of time. We can, however, slow that old age process down by making positive changes to our mind, body and spirit. Maintaining youth requires daily focus on every aspect of a healthy lifestyle and the choices you make.
My business partner and I are 67 and 76 respectively and are living our best healthy lifestyle. Maintaining our youth for as long as we can is a major priority for us. We ride bikes, go to the gym several days a week ,eat lots and lots of fish, fruit, and vegetables and take vitamins and supplements to keep our bodies healthy and functioning. Our “Maintaining Youth” site will be focusing on antiaging lifestyle choices that will help you manage stress, choose a healthy diet and activities and provide you with tips for a joyful and energetic quality of life. We will share our personal experiences, some of the products and services we like and maybe a recipe or two. Stay tuned and defy your age with us.
